Dear Earthguide visitors,

    Earthguide is an educational resource in Earth and Environmental science for both students and teachers.  We are part of the California Space Institute at Scripps Institution of Oceanography and our web site is created by a dynamic team of undergraduate students at the University of California San Diego.

    Earthguide is our central website and holds both project-specific modules and general information.  At the end of last year, we worked with scientists from Scripps and several other research institutions to bring you the expedition Descent to Mid-Atlantic Ridge. This year we're beginning work on Clean Water for the 21st Century with the Birch Aquarium at Scripps.  At the same time, we're working on making our general resources easy to find - recources such as our favorite web links, images, and our collection of fun interactives.

    Behind the scenes, we're bringing together students, educators, scientists, and other community members to bring quality educational materials that work for you.   See how Earth and Environmental science topics bring relevance to science and math subject areas. Check back frequently because we're growing all the time.
