Petroleum Products

Petroleum is found almost everywhere in a variety of of forms. Petroleum is most recognized as a fuel for transportation and heating homes, but it is also found in plastics, medicine, and even some food. Petroleum products can be arranged into three categories as seen below.

Fuels: This category includes motor gasoline, diesel fuel, liquefied petroleum gas, kerosene, jet fuel, and petroleum coke.



Finished Non-fuels: This category includes solvents, lubricant oils, petroleum wax, petrolatum, asphalt, and petroleum coke.



Feedstocks: This category includes chemicals that are used by the petrochemical industry.
