Dear Miss Cerelli at Preuss UCSD,

Today I learned about animals with no back bones, they are called invertebrates. We looked at a

brittle star, star fish, polyp, clams, and last but not least the tube worm except we didn't get

to hold one. The brittle star, the , and the star fish have spiny skin,5 limbs, and tube feet and

they also have a strong suction. The teacher even let me have a baby brittle star because I found

it and because I have salt water tank in my room. The clam had a hard shell and a big mouth so he

or she couldeat food. The tube worm makes tunnel. One side is for the food to come in and the

others side is for the trash to come out.

So long MissCerelli!  Senserly, Brian Hanline
