How toxic algae affects us & the Enviroment

 

Unfortunatly, there are some species that produce "potent neuro-toxics" that can be transfered through the food web where they affect and usually kill the higher forms of life like zooplankton, shell fish, fish, birds, marine mammals, and even humans that feed either directly or inderectly on them.
