Poem

Oysters have a ugly gray hard shell

Their very hard to open,

As you can plainly tell

I open them up,and what do I see?

Grayish, gushy stuff (gross! )

I've just barfed on Lee!

I am slowly reaching in to touch the stuff

The insides are slimy

but the outside is ruff

Oysters live in many waters worldwide

From Japan to Mexico

In low tide to high tide

Look in salty bays, even in murky lagoons!

The water is 5ppt salinity

Look from morn. to noon

Planktons are the oyster's food sources

Maybe tasty for oysters

But I prefer meal courses

Tonight oysters are on my list "To Dine"

I like them best with butter

Also with a bit of white wine
