Center for Cooperation in Research and Education

The Center for Cooperation in Research and Education (CORE) is a department of the Ocean Institute dedicated to establishing innovative and effective collaboratives between research and education communities. The Center is committed to a think tank approach that draws together a variety of agencies for strategic planning, development of implementation plans and building of funding strategies to address a range of environmental issues such as improved water quality, balanced recreation and conservation activity, habitat protection and improved scientific and environmental literacy.
