The animated GIF below is composed of 362 32-day SeaWiFS composites. Each 32-day composite in the sequence has a starting (and ending) date that is eight days later than the previous frame. The time period covered is from the beginning of the SeaWiFS mission through July 2005.
Note that this is a large animation file (93,995,176 bytes). You should be prepared to wait a while for the file to download and for the animation to begin. If your computer does not have sufficient memory to load the image, then the animation may not work at all for you.
